Vinton County Courthouse  Dave decided to surprise me with a mini-vacation for our Anniversary. We headed up to historic Vinton, IA and our first stop was the gorgeous courthouse. Inside is absolutely beautiful. |
Ray House  Dave arranged a personal tour of two historic houses in Vinton. This was one of them. Dave and I both love Queen Anne victorian houses. |
The Lion & the Lamb  This is where we stayed the first night in Vinton. The house is the most elegant house I have ever seen. We spent the night in the Ellis Room, which is the master suite with 2-person jacuzzi hottub and king bed. The next morning we had a wonderful full breakfast and spent time talking with the owners. |
